Another spiral.
I don’t have a good handle on how popular the various variety puzzles are (or aren’t, as the case may be). If you have strong feelings either way, please share your thoughts!

I really enjoy the variety puzzles. They require a different way of thinking than solving a crossword or cryptic. And when I’m done I go back through the answers to look at (admire) the construction choices
Thanks, Jeff. The challenging thing about making the spirals is getting the numbers of inward and outward letters to match! This particular one was a bit more co-operative than earlier ones.
How can I print this out?
Hi Barry, I only just noticed that there isn’t a print option for the spiral, as there is for the crosswords and other variety puzzles. You can print from your browser window, but I realize that’s not as handy as a pdf file. I’ll contact Amuse Labs and see if they can help us out.
This puzzle appeared as one long, vertical, single-cell stack on my (Macbook) screen. I was still able to complete it and I enjoyed it a lot, but did I do something wrong? Thanks.
Hi Glenn,
No, you didn’t do anything wrong at all! The puzzle had previously appeared correctly, as a true spiral. Just this AM, I noticed that it, and another spiral, had morphed into straight lines (😕). I contacted Amuse Labs, the platform to which I uploaded the puzzles, and asked them what had happened.
I apologize for the glitch, and hope this won’t prevent you from sampling other puzzles on the site. Thanks so much for solving, and for your interest.
