A themed grid: nothing fancy, but I had fun finding theme answers that worked.
This is the first time I’ve used a visual clue.

That was fun! I love the placement of the theme answers, with the revealer smack in the middle. Lots of good fill and some fun clues (my favorites are 20A and 63A). The clue for 47A is a fun factoid. I can imagine how looking for theme answers was an enjoyable exercise.
Thanks, Jeff! What would have been the perfect revealer was, alas, 20 letters long. I briefly considered splitting it into two entries, but I think that would have challenged my grid construction skills. So, I went in the opposite direction and opted for one of the shortest possible revealers instead. Thank you for solving!
This is the best I’ve done before needing a hint. I got stuck only at the very end in the block with 30 31 32 down. I’m getting used to your trickery and doing better. Well done!
Excellent!
Fun as always, thank you! Great theme entries and so many great clues. (I still don’t quite get 29A; I too finished with 30D, 31D, and 32D.)
Perhaps not the most straightforward clueing angle on my part. Prior to the release of a major film, particularly one that may garner lots of award nominations, the film makers – director, stars, maybe producers – generally go on a press junket at which they promote the film. This includes lots of interviews with various members of print and broadcast media and selected film clips are usually part of the process.
