Yet another kind of variety puzzle! And yet another round of sincere thanks to Alex Boisvert over at Crossword Nexus. Thank you, too, to Ryan Fitzgerald, whose open-source Ingrid code allowed Alex to create a variety puzzle constructor with which one can make, among other things, a Flower Power puzzle like the one shown below.

This particular flower has 14 petals. Each numbered space is the start of two answers, one curving clockwise and the other counterclockwise, for a total of twenty-eight answers. Every answer is five letters long and should be entered in the correspondingly numbered spaces of the respective petals.

There are two options for solving.
